Father in heaven, send your Holy Spirit to be the companion of every priest and deacon chosen by you and called to serve your people.

Let them experience the very real and tangible presence of Our Lord such that loneliness may never creep into their hearts. Fill their lives with your family, and let the parish families become our priests’ brothers, sisters, aunties, uncles, and cousins.

Surround our priests with your divine love and the love poured out for us by Jesus on the cross.

Mother Mary, take [Fr. N] by the hand and lovingly lead him to your perfect son, Our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Through you, Blessed Mother, may [Fr. N] be perpetually filled with God’s love and heavenly light.
