Christ Jesus, you taught us to avoid judging others lest we be judged. As humans, we are all born sinners. And while we may judge each others’ actions, only you with the Father are the supreme judge of every heart.

Look kindly upon us and [Fr. N], and be merciful in your judgment. Keep [Fr. N’s] judgments of the people he shepherds fair, honest, constructive, and based in love. When a parishioner stumbles into sin, remind [Fr. N] that all of us, including himself, sin. Inspire him to be merciful in his patience with others’ shortcomings and sinful natures, as we all deeply desire your mercy at the final judgment.
