Father in heaven, fill [Fr. N] with the spirit of compassion,
humility, virtue, and grace.

Give [Fr. N] the desire to educate his parish
not only in the Catechism and Church history,
but more importantly, to teach all of our parishioners
how to be saints, how to be holy, and
how to fill our community with the spirit of St. Teresa of Calcutta.

O Lord, strengthen [Fr. N] when he faces adversity in all its forms.
Lead him to continue Your work when others abandon him
or our faith.
Provide him with the necessary perseverance to follow
Your path and fulfill his vows.

Loving and eternal God,
remind [Fr. N] of the plan You created for him to follow.
Do not allow his successes in other endeavors
to misdirect his energy away from Your original purpose
and plan for his life.
Keep him humble while blessing him with all the resources
he needs to accomplish Your will.

Jesus, open time in [Fr. N’s] busy life to spend with You
in silence, solitude, and prayer.
Commune with him during such times,
mentor him,
surround him with Your passion for caring
for the poor and forgotten.
