Creator God, You brought forth all of nature filled with sound
as well as silences.
Bless [Fr. N] with daily space in his busy schedule
that he may rest with You in the silence of his heart
and in Your grace.

Remove from his mind the distractions that can so easily
supplant Your quiet voice as it beckons him
into contemplation with You and the Holy Spirit.

During the dark silences of night, Lord,
lay Your hand upon his shoulder and
fill him with the perfect light of
Your never-ending love.
