God in heaven, bless [Fr. N’s] offerings from his simplistic lifestyle.
The cold showers, simple meals, and other denials of comfort
represent his yearning to control the desires of the flesh
that while pleasant and good, can impede a focus on
his own holiness and that of others.

Reward [Fr. N’s] austerity with blessings on all of his charitable works,
for the poor, the meek, and the lost hearts and souls.

Lord, fill us with a spirit of plenty so that we may be satisfied
with the blessings we have been given.
Strike down the spirit of want that only breeds dissatisfaction
and misery.
Lead us to share our blessings without fear.
